Edge Hill United Football Club Cairns’ only inner-city football club that caters to all ages & abilities. We are a not-for-profit community organisation run by an army of volunteers.

Edge Hill United Football Club strives to offer a family-friendly and fun environment that encourages healthy living, participation, skill development and socialisation. The club celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2017 and since its establishment has generated the likes of Frank Farina, Shane Steffanutto and Michael Thwaite. The club has a strong focus on player development and is committed to providing equal resources and opportunities to every club member. EHUFC's goal is to provide a fun, family orientated sporting club that encourages healthy living, participation and making new friends while playing in a team environment, learning and improving their skills in the world game. EHUFC is a Level 2 accredited "GOOD SPORTS CLUB" and Level One in the FFAs "National Club Accreditation Scheme (NCAS)". We have also achieved level 4 with the Cairns Regional Councils "Go Clubs" accreditation scheme. We have something to offer everyone - from tiger cubs (a fun and friendly introduction to football for 3-5 year olds) to senior premiers (a competitive environment that requires a high level of skill and fitness) and everyone in between. EHUFC has three full-size pitches, fill canteen/bar facilities, dedicated male and female change rooms/shower facilities, referee rooms and high-quality club equipment. We strive to provide a welcoming, stimulating and professional environment for every member of this club. We want to offer every player the opportunity for growth and continue to invest in our club. By involving both juniors and seniors in coaching, refereeing and committee roles, we want to maintain our reputation of being a family-oriented, community club where the players are proud to call themselves tigers. We welcome all players. The 2022 committee would like to welcome all new and former players along with all of the parents, carers and coaches to the Edge Hill United Football Club.

One week on from our MiniRoos and Junior Presentation Day 💛🖤

Last weekend was all about celebrating the season together and judging by these photos, there was plenty of fun along the way!

From the slip-and-slide and inflatables to plenty of football, laughter and time spent with teammates, it was a fantastic time for our young Tigers and their families.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a great celebration of another wonderful season at Edge Hill United.

SENIOR GRAND FINAL WEEKEND 🏆

What a way to finish.

Five Edge Hill teams took their place on the Grand Final stage across Friday and Saturday, with four crowned 2026 Grand Final winners.

🏆 Division 2 Men
🏆 U23 Women
🏆 U23 Men
🏆 Premier Women

Our U16/18 FQPL side also gave everything in their Grand Final, finishing as runners-up after an outstanding season.

From Friday night at Endeavour Park to a huge Saturday at Stan Williams Park, our Tigers represented Edge Hill with everything they had.

Congratulations to every player and coach, and thank you to the families, supporters and club community who were there behind them throughout the season.

Our Premier Women are ready to take centre stage.

They face Redlynch Strikers in the 4:00pm Grand Final after an outstanding season that saw them crowned regular-season Premiers.

Now they step onto the Grand Final stage with another title to pursue.

GRAND FINAL DAY 🏆

Four teams. Four Grand Finals. One huge day representing Edge Hill United.

Our U16/18s begin the action at 9:00am, followed by the U23 Women, U23 Men and Premier Women, all taking the field at Stan Williams Park with a championship on the line.

To every player, coach, volunteer, family member and supporter who has been part of the journey: this is the day we have worked towards.

Wear your yellow and black, make some noise and get behind our teams.
