Excited to be back in Redlynch this weekend - looking forward to seeing everyone competing and afterwards!

Confession time: I was completely star-struck.

One of my favourite moments from Adelaide Equestrian Festival was meeting Jess Sommerfield and the beautiful Finch Farm Carpentaria.

After spending the day photographing the 3* dressage and the 5* trot-up, I finally worked up the courage to go and introduce myself. As it turns out, Jess is every bit as lovely as everyone says she is, and Carpentaria was just as impressive in person (and more than a little adorable!).

What struck me just as much was the incredible team working with them. It was obvious how much support, care and hard work goes into producing a horse at this level, and it was wonderful to meet some of the inspiring people who are part of that journey.

Sometimes the best memories from an event aren’t the photos you take, but the people and horses you get to meet along the way.

A moment I’ll treasure for a very long time. ❤️

Thank you Jess for being so generous with your time and kindness, both at Adelaide and afterwards. Wishing you and your team the best of luck for MI3DE - wish I could be there but Rose and I will be cheering you on from Cairns.
