Himalayan Community Care Services alongside Cairns Bhutanese Cricket Club, is thrilled to invite kids aged 4–16 years to our KIDS Cricket Blast at Walker Sporting & Recreational Precinct!

This exciting event is designed to promote cricket, develop skills, stay active, and make new friends.

What a way to end the season!!
Winning the first ever 3rd grade club final, well done and Congratulations each one of you.

Match Summary

Mareeba won the toss and chose to bat first, starting solidly to reach 49/0. Then came Milan Rai (3-1-5-2), striking twice in quick succession to remove both openers and shift the momentum. Our bowlers kept the pressure on before Tilchan Monger created history with his first-ever career hat-trick, wrapping up their innings for just 99 all out

Chasing 100 for victory, we lost Purna Monger early, but Mr. Dependable Bishal joined the skipper to rebuild the innings. The pair took us to 58/2 before Bishal’s crucial 24-run knock ended with a run-out. A steady 36-run stand between the captain and Karan pushed us within sight of the trophy, with the skipper smashing his sixth fifty of the season!

With just 5 runs needed, Sanjay’s wicket fell, but in the 31st over Dibas sealed the win with the final run — securing our first-ever championship trophy! 🏆🔥
