We are excited to announce we will be performing in the Hawks Northern Nest on Friday night and for the AFL Grand Final this Saturday!

We have been heavily supported by Craig Lees Bradley Channon and the team from AFL Cairns. We cannot thank them enough for their care, practical HELP, encouragement and performance opportunities, especially meeting performing for professional female athletes. 🔥

Yirgjhilya is a dynamic singer-songwriter whose evocative sound blends folk, indie, and world music influences. Her cultural heritage deeply informs her work, infusing her music with rich storytelling and a unique perspective that resonates with our community.

Nyeira - Wadja Giwu, ‘story teller’ - spoke so confidently in front of a whole-school audience supported by her dance friends. She followed Elder & TO Uncle Neville who delivered a beautiful welcome, reminding us all to look to the mountains for inspiration and strength.

Thank you Michelle Rollason for the invite to perform and take part in the NAIDOC celebrations today. Well done on a wonderful event to the teams and performers!

Nyeira / Wadja Giwu ‘Story Teller’ led a beautiful introduction speech, with so much confidence at her young age. The girls danced with pride. ✨
