The winner of the 2026 Croquet Queensland Presidents Medal was Bob Martin from Eildon with a very delighted Claire Warriner (Windsor) being the Runner-up. CAQ President John van Barneveld awarded the 2 medals.

The weekend conditions at Caloundra were perfect for this event. A full round robin was played by the 16 entrants.
Bob won 12 games with Claire winning 10.
All scores can be reviewed on CroquetScores at https://croquetscores.com/2026/gc/caq-qld-presidents-medal

Thankyou to my great team of members at Caloundra for helping run the event again this year. Thanks also for the support of our hard working Referees.

This weekend we hosted the CAQ QLD GC President’s medal under the wonderful sun of the Sunshine Coast. Some scenes from Saturday play and early Sunday.

TIP OF THE DAY....Croquet is all about the perfect alignment... Use your nut to stay steady whilst you complete your follow through. Don't let the nut loosen too soon. ....BTW this is the most important factor of a good Jump shot!
