Golden Beach parkrun

20/10/2026

Advance notice: Golden Beach is registered as one of the 550 parkruns to participate in support of the Daniel Morcombe parkwalk for Daniel on October 31st.
Wear red to raise awareness for child safety. We look forward to seeing you there❤️

For 21 years, we've walked for Daniel on the Sunshine Coast, joined by thousands of locals and supporters from further afield. Now the walk is going national, thanks to parkrun Australia.

On Saturday 31 October, 550 parkrun events across the country are invited to take part in parkwalk for Daniel. Wherever you live, wear red and walk for child safety.

Already a parkrunner? Head to your local parkrun in red.

We have a full volunteer roster for Saturdays’ run - well done 👍 volunteers

Still looking for an amazing 😻 photographer for next Saturday the 24th October(you don’t have to be amazing, just be able to snap some action shots)

A gentle reminder about our new one lap course and some guidelines around that - we’re all loving the scenic view, however, let’s continue to keep everyone safe, including members of the public

On our iconic boardwalk let’s remember to:
- Keep left
- Single file
- No overtaking

Don’t forget to thank our amazing volunteers and let’s stay safe and have fun - see you Saturday
