JAKEY PIETZ AUS U19 SELECTION

Earlier this week it was announced that Jakey Pietz was selected in the Australian U19 team to play India next month on a multi-format tour in Rajkot and Ahmedabad! An unbelievable achievement considering Jakey is only entering his bottom age U19 year now! Having taken 21 wickets in 6 matches at an average of 10.38 at the U17 national championships last season, Jakey impressed national selectors and has been rewarded for his success, being judged in the top 16 players in Australia for his age!

Jakey joined us last year after his brother Daniel the year before and quickly made his mark. Making his debut in Round 7, Jakey gave us a glimpse of his brilliance with 2 outstanding catches and even better celebrations! He is one for all Magpies and Victorians to keep an eye on for the future.

Jakey is Camberwells first Australian representative since Shubham Bhargave about 10 years ago so this is certainly an occasion to celebrate!

Congratulations to Jakey and his family, go well in India and we can't wait to see you back in time for round 1!
