We are delighted to welcome Guy Tinwell to Wyclif for the upcoming season!
Joining us from Endon Cricket Club in the United Kingdom, Guy is an exciting wicketkeeper-batsman who will bring plenty of talent and quality to our squad.
A close friend of last season’s import, Louis, Guy is excited to make the journey to Highfield and become part of the community!

After four seasons, and countless memories, we say farewell to Steve as he heads interstate to pursue new job opportunities.
Joining Wyclif from Zimbabwe in 2022/23, Steve quickly became a very popular figure around the club.
Steve played an integral role in last season’s 1st XI premiership, and has given us some incredible moments along the way, including his boundary filled half-century against Laburnum in a semi-final and a dominate 4/15 against Cougars in a Grand Final, which capped off a season in which he claimed the association bowling averages with an absurd 30 Wickets @ 9.67
Beyond his on-field contributions, Steve has also spent countless hours coaching our junior sides and giving back to the club.
Everyone at Wyclif loves Steve, and while we’re sad to see him go, we’re absolutely stoked for him and this next chapter. He will always be welcome back at Highfield Park 💙
Good luck, Steve!

We’re excited to announce our senior captains for the 2026/27 season!
Congratulations to Joe Klotz and Austin Rainey, who take on the First XI and Second XI captaincy roles for the first time. We also welcome back Colin Hanley and Nathan Pope, who will once again lead our Third XI and Fourth XI sides.
A huge thank you to Matt and Marty who did an outstanding job captaining our First and Second XI teams the past few seasons.
Congratulations to all four captains, looking forward to a great season!

Don’t worry, he’s not going anywhere.
After leading the club as captain from 2022–2026, Matt steps down following the ultimate finish, a premiership in season 25/26. 🏆
Matt’s leadership, passion and commitment to the club have left a massive mark both on and off the field, and while the captaincy may be changing hands, his impact around the club certainly won’t.
Thank you for everything, Skip. 👏
New captain to be announced soon

The program will focus on developing all areas of the game, including batting, bowling, fielding, game awareness, and individual player development. A great opportunity for junior cricketers to build their skills and confidence in a fun environment.
