Cleared ... probably needs some shovel attention as well...
This is Important!
Clarence City Council is doing public consultation on a public open space (POS) strategy and it’s a good time to get key parcels of land included in the mix. We have a few in the Meehan Range.
We are encouraging all users to email comments to [email protected] requesting lots 770 Cambridge Rd and 429 Flagstaff Gully Rd be considered for purchase by Council to complete gaps in the POS in the Meehan Range and secure public access to Rocky Tom, Caves Hill and tracks between Belbins Rd and Golden Hill.
These are key parcels that help make this area all connect together.
You know the drill - the louder the voice the more likely we are to be heard.
Please help us out by sending an email.
Thanks a million.
Caves Hill Trail is open for riding - thanks to Dirt art and the trail volunteers - opens a whole new piece of the range...
Ok let's see what the group is keen to do in regards to getting the new caves hill trail groomed and opened...
Given the location we really need to do day time volunteer sessions...
Soo who is keen for a few hours this Sat the 5th or either of the following two Sat (12th or 19th)..?
It would be great to have it opened before Easter...
Let me know here or pm me ....
We will let every one know after some feed back...
Thanks
Sat ride: Clarence surprise. Will decide route once onsite. Free BBQ and beverages follows courtesy of the trail groomers and supporters. Meet at the car park at 10am
Don't forget Meehan range cheers at clarence MTB park this Saturday ... 12 til 3 at the container ... Free to all trail builders, riders, family and friends ... See you there ..wink emoticon
Thanks to MTBSkills and Ride Bellerive for their donations for Saturdays get together - It looks like we might have some give aways on the day.... Keep em coming...
Here is a great suggestion "Look after the trails and your bike, leave it a day or three before riding. Trails need some recovery time at the moment to let the moisture soak in and for the sun to bake them hard"... We don't plan on closing any ATM but giving them some time will benefit a long summer of riding .... Another suggestion if you need the bike time - hit up Tangara trails..... 80 klms of trails to explore.... Thanks
