You bent down to pick something up and your back had opinions about it. πŸ˜…

Tight hips, a sore lower back, shoulders locked up from hours at a desk or behind the wheel. It creeps up so slowly you almost don't notice until one day your body feels about twenty years older than you are.

Most people know they should do something about it. They just don't want to walk into a room full of people who can fold themselves in half and feel completely out of place.

That's exactly who we built One Big Heart for. No pressure, no judgement. Just simple guidance that helps your body loosen up again.

πŸŽ‰ Meet Rachael! She's just completed 120 classes at One Big Heart!

Rachael came to us for a more complete practice, and she found it. Her strength is climbing, and her stress levels have dropped right down. But the part that's stuck with her most is what she takes off the mat.

She works a demanding job, the kind where staying calm under pressure isn't optional. And she's started using what she learns here in those exact moments. A bit of breath work, and the storm settles. That's not a yoga trick. That's a life skill she carries into her hardest days.

It's gone deeper still. The practice inspired Rachael to train as a yoga teacher herself. She keeps coming to OBH because it keeps her own practice alive, and now she gets to pass it on.

Rachael, 120 classes and you're teaching it now too. That's the whole thing come full circle. πŸ’›

If you're curious what a practice like this could give you, come say hello.

Father's Day is this Sunday. 🩡

If the dad in your life carries the weight of everyone else, maybe it's time someone gave him permission to put it down for an hour.

Yoga changes things. Even for the ones who think it's not for them.

πŸŽ‰ Meet Ashleigh! She's just completed 60 classes at One Big Heart!

Ashleigh came back to yoga after an ACL injury, looking to heal her knee. And it's done exactly that.

But healing was only the start. What's kept her here is the feeling that shows up mid-class, those moments where she notices she's stronger than she was, more capable than she thought. Not a number on a chart. An actual felt sense of progress, class after class.

Ashleigh, 60 classes of getting stronger and proving it to yourself. Love to see it. πŸ’ͺ

If you're working your way back from something, come say hello.

πŸŽ‰ Meet Carrie! She's just completed 400 classes at One Big Heart!

Carrie lives a full life. Long days, a demanding job, a mind that rarely switches off. Time for herself is not something she has much of. Yoga became the thing she carved out anyway.

Her goal was simple: more range of movement, a body that could keep up with everything she asks of it. She got that. But 400 classes in, the thing she talks about now runs deeper than her hips or her shoulders. In her words: "I feel calmer and more relaxed. Everything seems more blissful, and I'm less fazed by the dramas of life."

That's what 400 classes build. Not just a body that moves better, but a mind that holds steady when life gets loud.

Carrie, 400 classes and steadier than ever. We're honoured to have you in this community. Here's to the next 400. πŸ’›

If life's got you stretched thin, come see what an hour on the mat can do.

In the Eastern Suburbs, yoga has been part of everyday life for years. Out here in Western Sydney, people are just starting to realise what they've been missing. πŸ’ͺ

And it's not what most people think. It's not about perfection or posing. It's about reconnecting with your body and actually calming your mind in a way that carries into the rest of your life.

That shift is happening right now out west. One Big Heart has been at the centre of it for years.

If you've been curious but haven't taken the first step yet, consider this your invitation.

We take this as the best kind of complaint. πŸ˜„

People move away from Camden and come back to tell us we've ruined yoga for them. Every other studio just doesn't feel the same anymore.

That's not by accident. Our teachers hold an incredibly high standard in every single class. You're not just another mat in the room. You're someone we're genuinely invested in, watching you grow stronger, calmer, and more confident over time.

When yoga is taught that well, it changes how you move through life. Not just on the mat.

There's a reason cacao has been used in ceremony for thousands of years.

Taken with intention, it softens the nervous system and opens the heart. No performance, no pressure, just presence.

Expect:
🌬️ Gentle breath awareness to open the evening
🍫 Ceremonial cacao, shared with intention
🎢 Medicine songs, no singing experience needed
🧘 A guided meditation to close

✨ "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others." ✨

Most people look for themselves in all the wrong places.

In achievements. In how others see them. In quiet moments of reflection that circle back to the same questions without ever landing on answers.

Purpose doesn't usually show up that way.

It tends to show up when you stop making yourself the centre of the story. When you get genuinely invested in someone else's outcome. When the work you're doing matters to someone beyond you.

That's not self-sacrifice. It's self-discovery through a different door.

The people who seem most settled in who they are aren't the ones who spent the most time analysing themselves. They're the ones who found something worth showing up for.

What would it look like to stop searching and start serving? 🀍
