This Friday, Jackson has his Athletics Carnival, so at the end of today's session we did a little practice run.
On the call of "Ready... Set... GO!" our beautiful BODYWAR community jumped in and ran alongside him, cheering him on every step of the way. No one hesitated. They just showed up for one of their own.
Moments like this remind us that BODYWAR is so much more than fitness. It's about community, support, inclusion, friendship, and celebrating every victory together.

💪 EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST 💪
BODYWAR TEEN BOYS FITNESS & MENTORING PROGRAM
We've recently had some parents reach out asking if BODYWAR would consider creating a program specifically for teenage boys.
The answer is YES... if there's enough interest, we'd love to make it happen. The teenage years can be challenging. Many boys struggle with confidence, self-worth, motivation, friendships, school pressures, and finding their place in the world. Through our work with young people, we've seen first-hand how fitness, positive role models, and a supportive team environment can make a real difference.
This program wouldn't just be about fitness. It would focus on helping young men develop:
✅ Confidence & self-belief
✅ Resilience & mental toughness
✅ Respect & accountability
✅ Teamwork & communication skills
✅ Goal setting & discipline
✅ Healthy habits & routines
✅ Leadership & mateship
The boys would take part in fun, challenging bootcamp-style outdoor training designed to improve fitness, strength, sporting performance, and overall well being.
Our Head Coach John comes from a football background and understands the positive impact strong role models, discipline, teamwork, and physical activity can have during the teenage years.
Potentially suitable for boys aged 11-16 years (depending on interest and age groups). At this stage we're simply gauging interest.

Huge congratulations to our May BODYWAR Warrior of the Month — Pauline Cain!!!
Pauline is the definition of a quiet achiever. She turns up, gets to work, and gives everything she’s got every single session. One thing about Pauline — she’s always chasing those calorie goals, aiming for that 500–600 calorie mark, while also understanding that some strength-focused sessions won’t always hit the same numbers as the cardio-heavy ones.
What’s been most impressive is the way Pauline has continued to raise the bar, especially over the last 6–12 months. She’s pushed herself to another level with her fitness, strength, and overall mindset.
Recently, Pauline has been dealing with a little shoulder ni**le, but true to form, she hasn’t complained once. Instead, she finds alternatives, adapts where needed, and keeps battling on like nothing can stop her. Week by week and month by month, she continues to improve and prove exactly what being a warrior is all about.
Pauline, your consistency, resilience, and determination do not go unnoticed, and you are incredibly deserving of this recognition.
