Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Appin Dogs Rugby League Football Club will be held on:

At the AGM, all current committee positions will be declared vacant and open for nomination. We encourage all members to consider getting involved and nominating for one of the following roles:

Just want to say a massive thank you to Clarkey for all the time, effort and commitment he’s put in this year as coach. Bringing his experience to the team, helping bring new players in and giving up his own time hasn’t gone unnoticed and is greatly appreciated.

Also, a big thank you to both Billys, both Kevs, Jacob, Cooper Fry and Michael for all their help and effort throughout the year. It takes a lot of people behind the scenes to keep things running, and all the work everyone has put in is truly appreciated.

Thanks again to everyone who’s contributed and put in the effort this year. It doesn’t go unnoticed.

For Scott, Todd & Rebekah,

Your dedication, experience, love for the sport, and patience are what shape our team. Your never-quit attitude, the way you encourage us to support one another, and your belief in leaving it all out on the field inspire us to be the best we can be.

We wouldn’t be the team we are today without you three. Thank you for showing up to every training session and game day, meeting us where we’re at, and giving your time, care, and energy to help us become the best people we can be, both on and off the field.

You’ve taught us that league tag is about so much more than a ball and a game. It’s about communication, attitude, discipline, resilience, and the importance of working together as a team.

Over the years, the family we’ve built together has grown so much. Under your guidance, we’ve not only improved massively as players, but we’ve also gained something even more special: a sisterhood. A group of women from all different walks of life, brought together by our love for the same sport, who have built friendships, memories, and a bond that goes far beyond the field.

Thank you for believing in us, pushing us to be better, celebrating our wins, and standing beside us through the challenges. Thank you for your patience, your passion, and for continuing to show up for us, season after season.

We are so grateful to have you Scott & Todd as our coaches and Rebekah you as our Manager, but even more grateful for the people you are and the impact you’ve had on us. You’ve helped shape not only the team we are, but the people we are becoming.

We wouldn’t be the same team without you three, and we’ll always be thankful for everything you’ve given us. 💙

L L T S E A S O N R E C A P

What a season! 🐾💙

Making it all the way to the Grand Final is an incredible achievement, and while unfortunately we didn’t walk away with the win, that hasn’t stopped our girls!

Over the past four years, this team has come such a long way. As coaches, we have never set out to simply create outstanding individual players. Our focus has always been on building a team, creating a never-give-up attitude, and supporting one another every step of the way.

Through their dedication, commitment and hard work, these girls have improved dramatically and that growth has led them all the way to this year’s Grand Final.

Unfortunately, the result didn’t go our way, but in true Appin Dogs fashion, the ladies never gave up. They fought hard from the first whistle to the last and gave everything they had.

We are incredibly proud of every single one of our players and everything they have achieved this season.

This squad has shown what can happen when you believe in each other, work together and never give up.

We couldn’t be prouder of our girls and we can’t wait to see what’s next for this outstanding squad of young ladies!

Throwback to our Indigenous Round — 31st July & 2nd August 🖤💛❤️

Our annual Indigenous Round is a special time where every player is presented a jersey designed especially for the club. This year, we’re incredibly proud to wear jerseys designed by, Lisa Murray-Bouquet.

While Indigenous Round has always been about celebrating our Culture, Family and Community, this year it carries another important message Mental Health.

A reminder that when things get tough, you don’t have to face it alone. Keep going. Stick with it. Reach out, speak up and remember that there is always a reason to keep pushing forward. ❤️
