Be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent and to self-Identify and be accepted or known by your community who live in specific defined interstate border area with NSW

► Be aged 17vears or older.
► Show evidence of a year 10 completion. E.g. ROSA
► live or work in HSW.

If you live more than 90 minutes away from TAFE NSW, Bega you may be eligible for Away from base assistance to attend the face--to-face block deliveries.

The Certificate III in Community Dance, Theatre and Events at TAFE NSW Eora College offers a unique opportunity to develop your creative skills while learning in a culturally safe and supportive environment grounded in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander protocols.

Throughout this course, students will:
✔ Explore movement, rhythm and storytelling through contemporary dance
✔ Build confidence, strength and performance skills
✔ Learn creative collaboration and event production techniques
✔ Develop technical and industry knowledge for arts and community settings
✔ Connect culture, creativity and community through practical learning experiences

We’re showcasing the incredible work of our Certificate II, III and IV Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Cultural Arts students, celebrating their creative achievements and cultural expression.

Alongside the arts exhibition, we will also feature performances from our Certificate II and III in Music Performance cohort.

🌿 A Smoking Ceremony and Dance led by our Aboriginal Dance Teacher Ella Havelka and Gene Kelaher will open the evening at 6pm.
