Before They Were Marden Seniors… 💜

With just 1 week to go until the 2026 CASA Senior State Championships, we’re celebrating by taking a little trip down memory lane. From Tinies and Sub-Juniors through to Seniors, many of these girls have grown up at Marden and formed lifelong friendships.

For our Seniors, Marden has been a huge part of their lives, with some celebrating an incredible 15 and 20 years of service to our club. This dedication extends to the person who has guided our Seniors for so many of those years. Miss Cassie has coached the Marden Seniors since 2008 and has proudly been part of Marden for more than 40 years.

Miss Cassie and our Seniors represent generations of loyalty, dedication and a shared love for Marden. We wish you all the best of luck as you prepare for the stage next weekend 🌟

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our much-loved Life Member, Rachelle Richards.

Rachelle was a cherished member of our club family whose kindness, humility and unwavering support touched the lives of so many. Her dedication to our club over many years will never be forgotten, and her legacy will continue to live on through the generations she inspired.

Rach will forever be remembered for the incredible dancer she was. A quiet superstar, she never sought the spotlight, yet she captivated every audience with her beautiful stage presence. She was the perfect centre front girl - graceful, elegant, and effortlessly poised. Watching Rachelle perform was something truly special, and those fortunate enough to share the stage with her or watch her dance will always remember the beauty and joy she brought to every performance.

She carried that same grace, warmth and quiet strength throughout her life, leaving an unforgettable mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

On behalf of our committee, members, volunteers and the entire club community, we extend our deepest condolences to Rachelle’s family and friends. Our thoughts are with you all during this difficult time.
