Train smart with Mary My name is Mary Di Domenico and I am based at the Camperdown Fitness the number 1 Gym in Sydney. We sit down for long hours. There’s no physical stimulus.

My programs are a mix of strength and conditioning that is customised to each client where injury prevention is one of my highest priorities. Hi, I’m Mary, and I love giving people the confidence to achieve the things they want. I was born in the US, raised in Italy, and moved to Australia in 2014. From a young age I’ve been playing sports, and for 7 years I played basketball professionally. When I got to Australia I realised I wanted to start working as a Personal Trainer. I wanted to teach people how training in the gym can unlock so many different benefits. In our current lives, we keep our minds busy and stimulated but there is nothing in our day-to-day that builds strength in the body. Training in the gym used to be for bodybuilders and athletes, but now everyday people realise how much they can gain from a proper exercise regime. I help people see these benefits. My training is a mix of strength and conditioning that is customised to each client. Injury prevention is one of my highest priorities. When my career started I was collaborating with a Physiotherapist Team at the University of Technology Sydney’s gym, and the knowledge I gained around treating and preventing injuries has shaped the way I train people. I am passionate about the art of weightlifting; expressing and executing strength through flawless movement and sound technique. My goal is to devise personalised programs based on your unique body makeup, to build confidence in what you can achieve in the gym. Training is about health, it’s about building a healthy mind so you can live life to the fullest, and a healthy body that is pain-free and capable. Together we can strengthen the areas you need to work on while minimising your risk of getting injured while you train.

🔥 INTRODUCING THE TORQUE RELENTLESS ROPE! 🔥

One machine. Endless rope. Serious conditioning! 💪

The Torque Relentless Rope is a fantastic way to challenge your upper-body strength, grip, core stability and cardiovascular endurance.

What makes it even better?

💪 Standing position — challenge your full-body stability and pulling strength.

🪑 Seated position — focus on controlled upper-body pulling and muscular endurance.

⚡ Adjustable resistance — increase or decrease the intensity to match your fitness level.

🔥 TRY THIS 8-MINUTE ROPE HIIT CHALLENGE!

⏱️ 8 rounds | 40 seconds WORK / 20 seconds REST

Alternate between:

🔥 Round 1 — Standing rope pulls, moderate resistance

🔥 Round 2 — Seated rope pulls, higher resistance

Repeat 4 times!

Your challenge: Maintain consistent pulling speed, control your technique and keep the rope moving throughout every working interval.

Beginners, start with lighter resistance and shorter intervals if needed. Experienced? Increase the resistance without sacrificing technique.

No finish line. Just relentless effort! 🔥

Your head is heavier than you think… especially when your posture changes. 🤯

Your head weighs around 5 kg, but as it moves forward, the leverage increases — meaning the muscles and tissues around your neck have to work harder.

And think about how many hours we spend every day looking down at phones, laptops and screens. 📱💻

The answer isn’t to walk around stiff trying to have “perfect posture.” Instead:

✔️ Gently bring your chin back
✔️ Lengthen through the crown of your head
✔️ Relax your shoulders
✔️ Think tall, aligned and relaxed

And remember: your head position is only one part of the picture. Your whole body works as a chain.

Small adjustments can make a big difference to how you move, train and feel. 💪

🔥 HOW TO USE THE PANATTA VERTICAL LEG PRESS

A powerful machine for building lower-body strength and muscle — but technique always comes first.

Set yourself up correctly, choose a load you can control and work through a comfortable range of motion.

Don’t just move the weight — control it, own your range and make every rep count. 🦵🔥

Save this one for your next leg day!

🍑 INTRODUCING THE B***Y BUILDER PENDULUM LEG PRESS

Think a leg press is just a leg press? 👀

This machine gives you plenty of options to change your setup depending on what you want to emphasise.

🍑 Glute focus — more reclined backrest + feet higher on the platform

🔥 Quad focus — more upright backrest + feet lower on the platform

🦵 Neutral position — balanced setup to train the whole lower body

⚡ Single-leg press — train each side independently and challenge your control

And remember — your range of motion should match your mobility and your ability to maintain good technique. Going deeper isn’t automatically better if you lose position.

Beginner: 3 × 15 controlled reps
Experienced: 4 × 10 full reps + 5 partials, adding a 2-second pause to increase time under tension.

Same machine. Different setup. Different stimulus. 🔥

Save this for your next leg day!

Apparently I have a new assistant coach… 🐷😂

Meet Moana — she’s loud, demanding and has absolutely no qualifications, but she brings GREAT energy to back day. 😂

Today we’re combining:

💪 Standing T-bar row — narrow grip
💪 Standing T-bar row — wide grip
💪 Wide-grip lat pulldown

4 sets | 10 full reps + 5 partials

Control the movement, squeeze the contraction and make every rep count.

Educational? ✅
Effective? ✅
Slightly ridiculous? Absolutely. 😂🐷

Moana will be back… whether you like it or not.
