In 1968 Graham Hodge won the Sydney AFL B & F Award, the Phelan Medal.

Because 2026 is the 100th anniversary of that award, the Football Heritage Assn is compiling a book on all the Phelan Medalist.

Most of the winners, both past and present have been located, and images of these men will be published along with a bio on their football history, in this forthcoming publication.

However, we cannot find an image of Graham Hodge and Noel Stewart, the 1971 winner, both of whom played with the Southern Districts Club.

Graham Hodge was in the army and served in Vietnam in 1968-69. We are assuming that Noel was also in the army.
