Holiday is time when we all want to feel relaxed and not necessary worry about the dress code. However, this is the time when we should pay special attention to the attire we chose.

When visiting different countries we need to follow their social etiquette rules and make sure that we don’t offend religious feelings of the citizens.

Holiday checklist:

✅Educate yourself on the culture and religion of the country
✅Make sure you follow general social etiquette rules of the country
✅Make sure your outfit don’t offend anyone
✅Always check the dress code rules of the hotel/resort you are staying at
✅Always check the dress code rules before booking a restaurant
✅Always check the dress code of the public beaches
✅Always check the dress code of the private hotel beaches

You must remember thta you are a guest of the other country. You need to respect others by following the social etiquette rules of the country.

The dress l’m wearing has adjustible sleeves that allow me cover my shoulders when being in public or pulling them down when enjoying the sun at the private brunch at the hotel resort.

I’m pleased to introduce you to Molly - my 4 years old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. 🐶 This little creature has the sweetest and most gentle nature. She is obsessed with people and her favourite activity is to give everyone kisses.😊

„Should I wear red lipstick in corporate environment?” 💄

Recently, one of my lovely Gen-Z students asked me this question and we got into a very interesting discussion. 🙂

Even though, the reality of the modern world lets us break more and more rules, red lipstick should be avoided in the corporate environment.

And why is that? Well, the same reason of why we avoid evening attire at work. 💃Bold, heavy makeup and red lips are disturbing in the office environment. If you enjoy wearing lipsticks to work (like me 🙂) then DO IT, but try to use more subtle shades. 👄

Crunching snack at the desk, slurping coffee, eating smelly food, microwaving fish… these are things that should never happen in the office. 👩‍💼👨‍💼

Before starting my career at the university, I worked in three international corporations and believe me, I’ve seen, heard and smelled a lot! 🙈🙉🙊

On the top of my list of things that should never happen in the office is… microwaving a fish.😱🐟

My fav gift idea for the host/hostess is a fruit basket. 🍊🍇🍑🍒

Preparation of the fruit basket takes a little bit of time but the effort that has been put in its preparation will be highly appreciated - I can assure you.🙂

It’s a perfect idea especially if you are looking an alternative for sweets (especially if the host/hostess has kids and they are not allowed to eat sweets). A fruit basket is perfect for those who don’t eat sugar or drink alcohol. Or for those who don’t have gardening skills and they cannot keep any plants alive (happens to all of us 😅).
