Think you’re too unco for the dance part of Kanga? 😂
I promise you — there is absolutely no such thing.
We all miss steps. We all go the wrong way sometimes. I still mess up moves and laugh at myself regularly, and honestly that’s part of the fun.
Kanga isn’t about being a good dancer. It’s about moving your body, rebuilding strength, getting out of the house, and having a really good time with your baby 💕
And the dancing is only one small part of class anyway. We also work on core and pelvic floor recovery, strength, cardio, stretching, connection, and all the little chats and laughs in between.
The funny thing is… once the music starts, you stop worrying about whether you’re getting the moves “right”.
You’re just there, bouncing your baby, singing along to songs you forgot you loved, moving your body again and feeling a little bit more like you.
And by the end of class, you’ll wonder why you were nervous in the first place 🤍
You’ll be so glad you came.

FAQ - Is the carrier safe for my baby? 🤍
Absolutely! Baby’s safety is always the number one priority in every Kanga class.
We only use Kanga-approved safe carriers during class, and before we get moving I’ll always check your fit and positioning to make sure both you and baby are comfortable, supported and safe 😊
Don’t have a carrier yet? Or not sure if yours is Kanga approved? No stress at all — I have a heap of carriers available to borrow for free. So really… no excuses now 😂🙌
And if you’ve never worn your baby before, that’s totally okay too. Your first class trial includes help with fitting and babywearing along the way 💕

Pelvic floor health is about so much more than doing a few Kegels. 🤍
Your pelvic floor supports your bladder, bowel, uterus, posture, breathing, exercise and everyday life.
If you're experiencing leaking, heaviness, pressure, pain, or things just don't feel quite right, you don't have to simply "put up with it."
Looking after your pelvic floor can include:
✔ Regular pelvic floor exercises (join us at Kanga for these!)
✔ Good breathing habits
✔ Fibre and hydration to support healthy bowels
✔ Seeking professional support when needed
And perhaps most importantly: advocating for yourself if something doesn't feel right.
Have you ever seen a pelvic health physio? 👇
If you have, I'd love to hear about your experience.
And if you're local to Canberra, I'll tag some wonderful pelvic health physios in the comments who support women through pregnancy, postpartum and beyond. 🤍

"My baby hates the carrier" is one of the most common things I hear from parents.
The good news? The carrier usually isn't the whole story.
Sometimes it's timing. Sometimes it's comfort. Sometimes it's a fit issue. And sometimes babies just need a little time.
Before you give up on babywearing, swipe through these common reasons babies might protest being worn.
Have you ever had a baby who seemed to hate the carrier at first but later loved it? Share your experience below 👇

If you've ever been babywearing in public, chances are you've had a stranger offer an opinion you didn't ask for 😅
Sometimes you're happy to educate.
Sometimes you just smile and move on.
And sometimes… you think of the perfect response 10 minutes later in the car. 🙃
