BTrail 100km COURSE ANNOUNCEMENT!
Just in time for the end of early entries on Sunday night we can finally share the BTrail 100km course!!
It's a point to point epic adventure through the Brindabellas from Corin Dam to Blue Range Hut. Locals know Stockyard Spur, but for the uninitiated, we're talking 600m of climbing in the first 2km.
That's followed by 98kms of the Brindabella's best including Mt Ginini, Mt Franklin, Mt Aggie and Mt Coree. You'll love the steep climbs, but the net elevation loss will have you loving the steep downhills more. β°π»π
This new addition to the BRuTUS suite of courses will leave you feeling... overthrown.
A GPX is coming soon to ultramediocre.run.
Due to wilderness area restrictions, spots are extremely limited (over 50% sold). Now is the time to sign up and grab an event T-shirt π₯πon the way to check out!

Great Ultra Mediocre Back Yarder Analysis

Finally got up the courage to run a beer mile. Been wanting to do it for years, but it just seemed hard. This year I figured that I got through 100 miles with 0 beers a few weeks back, so I might be up to 1 mile with 4 beers. And I did ok, finishing in 5th place with a time off 7:15.
More importantly: what a great turn out from Ultra Mediocre Runners of Canberra. Being part of this club makes me so happy and proud. The achievements of club members over the last month are mind bending. And if we think back over the year we've had it's kinda nuts. You guys are awesome, pinkos. Looking forward to 2024!
