Auñón signs! We are super excited to announce that Cristina Auñon has signed with NWS Spirit FC in the NSW NPLW.
Cristina is a professional footballer from La Liga F (top tier of Spanish women football) with an astonishing career of 11 seasons with Rayo Vallecano and over 250 matches in top flight.
This is the first time the Women NPL competition in Australia is able to attract such talent at that high level and we are super proud that we were able to make it happen!

Congratulations to our Spanish international goalkeeper Malena Mieres on her debut with Melbourne City FC in the Asian Champions League 👊

We are super excited to announce that, following a successful two-week trial, the talented Pearl Tein and Madi Cachia have received an offer to join the academy of LaLiga F professional club SD Eibar and that they have accepted the offer & will spend the season in Spain 🇪🇸 🤝
The Canberra talented pair have done amazingly well throughout the trial period and are now ready to embark on a massive milestone as part of their football journey.
Well done girls, the hard work starts now 👊

Madi & Pearl were welcomed well by the club's coaching staff, had their first session yesterday which went well and will train with the B team today 👊

Good luck to the talented Pearl Tein who is on her way to Spain 🇪🇸 for a second spell to trial with SD Eibar that competes in LaLiga.

Following a successful trial with Eibar last year, Pearl returned home but stayed humble and continued to work hard in readiness for this season's trial.

Pearl has been progressing well as one of Canberra's brightest young female talents and we are certain she'll do well.

We scouted Madi's talent last season and engaged with her parents when it was the right time to do so & offered her a genuine opportunity to showcase her talent in the best country for women football at the moment at a club that competes in LaLiga.
We believed in Madi's talent and her on & off the pitch attitude, and we are fairly confident she'll do Canberra proud.
