The theme for National Reconciliation Week 2026 is All In, a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every single day.

All In makes clear that reconciliation is not a spectator sport and that all of us must step away from the sidelines and take action to make change.

The theme also reminds us that reconciliation and advancing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ rights isn’t a passive activity, and it is not solely the responsibility of First Nations people, who have carried the weight of championing, explaining and acting for far too long.

Reconciliation will not happen by itself, and it will not happen without all of us.

This week, from 18-24 May, we celebrate National Volunteer Week, which honours the millions of people who dedicate their time to supporting communities.

Sport in Australia is entirely run by volunteers, from administrators, coaches, managers, umpires, and more, these people give up their time to ensure sport is a place where everyone wants to be and enjoy themselves.

Make sure this week, you reach out to those hard working volunteers and remind them of the fantastic work they are doing and why it means so much to you.

Join us tomorrow night as deliver a one stop shop for all things injury prevention, strapping and knee strengthening 💙

Erin from PhysioSport is excited to meet the wonderful SGNC community to teach you all about how to avoid those nasty netball injuries this season.

Erin will go over:
• Strapping demonstrations
• Injury prevention techniques
• Balance and strengthening exercises

Her engaging and interactive presentation will be delivered inside the CNA Clubhouse tomorrow night (Thursday 14th May) from 5:30pm - 6:30pm.

We encourage athletes, parents and coaches to attend to ensure you get the best information for your 2026 netball season.

There will be demonstrations, games and a Q&A segment - so come prepared, ask questions and be ready to interact!

Attention! SGNC is in search of fantastic volunteers to lend a hand with CNA’s Round 2 BBQ and canteen duties. Your participation would be instrumental in guaranteeing that players, coaches, volunteers, and families are well-fed with delicious bacon and egg rolls throughout the day, while also ensuring the smooth operation of the Round 2 competition.

If you ordered BEFORE April 11: polos, singlets and dresses are available for collection on Thursday 23 April 5:30pm - 7pm at Lyneham courts.

If you ordered AFTER April 11: collection will be Thursday 30 April 5:30pm - 7pm and the morning of Saturday 2nd May.

Hoodies, jackets, shorts and training shirts have been ordered. We will let you know when they arrive.
