🇦🇺 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the 2025 Australian Masters Games – Officially On! 🥋🔥

We’re proud to announce that BJJ is making its debut at the 20th Australian Masters Games – and it’s going to be big. For the first time, we’ve secured the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra as our venue, and we’re running in partnership with the Australian Grappling Association to bring you the highest standard of refereeing and event oversight.

🗓 Competition Day: Sunday, 19 October 2025
📍 Venue: Australian Institute of Sport, Canberra, ACT
👥 Divisions: White to Black Belt, ages 30+

This is more than just a comp – it’s a week-long celebration of sport with over 40 different sports running alongside BJJ. Your Games registration includes:

Entry to opening and closing ceremonies (with live music!)

A goodie bag with gear

Access to other sports like wrestling, judo, boxing – all happening at the same venue on consecutive days

Social events throughout the week

🎉 To top it off, we’re hosting a post-comp social catch-up on Sunday night, 19 October from 7pm–10pm at TAMF in Cook – a chance to reconnect with old friends and the wider BJJ family from across Australia.

Hey everyone! 🌟 Save the date – this Saturday, November 18th at 12 pm – for a special fundraiser supporting our athletes, former world GAMMA champion Djj Tempeau and the newly appointed national Tongan coach, Andrew Machin, a former professional MMA fighter. These dynamic individuals are gearing up to represent us at the GAMMA world title in Bangkok this December!

In our last min effort to cover their flight expenses and insurance, we're hosting an event featuring a raffle draw and a BBQ immediately following the training session at the gym starting at 12 pm.
