Our judo team (Judo Joeys) recently had the incredible opportunity to practice alongside the cadets' team, fostering a dynamic environment of learning and collaboration.

Experienced members of our National level competition squad shared invaluable time with our younger members.

The friendship built during these sessions strengthened our team spirit and reinforced our commitment to excellence in judo, paving the way for future successes together.

A notable achievement for our competition team.

The NSW community judo competition showcased significant effort and commitment.

The medal tally for Olympia and Mackillop judo clubs is 2 Gold, 4 Silver, and 4 Bronze medals.

Specifically:
Gold - Hassan (Oly), Ishan (Mac)
Silver – Alex (Oly), Vuk Cadets (Oly), Vuk Junior Men (Oly), Daniel Cadets (Oly)
Bronze – John (Oly), Sadith Cadets and Junior Men (Mac), Daniel Junior Men (Oly)

Ethan had strong competitions against notable opponents, finishing 4th, while Ben retired after fracturing his foot in the first fight.

Adrian demonstrated excellent refereeing skills, showcasing his understanding of and passion for the sport.

The event, with over 340 competition entries, highlighted the significant participation these events attract.

Thank you to Judo NSW for your collaboration and support.

The friendship within our judo community, as young athletes of Olympia’s and MacKillop's competition teams display their dedication and sportsmanship, is commendable.

The dedication, patience, and expertise of our judo instructors contribute to our competition success.

We extend our gratitude to our parents and supporters, as without their support none of this would have been possible.

Thank you for reading
