Today, as we should every day, we remember those who volunteered, sacrificed, served, fought, and died, for our freedom. We thank you, and we salute you as we salute those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. We will never forget. We will remember you.

Watching “The Witcher” from S1:E1 and reflect upon the mighty war horse.
I love dressage, the opportunity to develop excellence through discipline, perseverance and repetition, colloquially referred to as “sand dancing”. I haven’t been riding much of late. It has greatly influenced where and how I live, oddly my choice of job (long story).
Dressage can be both meditative and frustrating as heck, helps me find and maintain healthy boundaries, keep in shape and focus with laser intent.
Cycling my arse off (metaphorically speaking) is a lovely alternative but my metal beast does not hold the magic and beauty that is unique to being with an equine companion.
When I started riding (following a few friends from school), I had no clue about the mums family history.
