We have just had a couple of days at Silverton. Stayed at the Penrose Park. Great spot to relax for a few days. Wandered around Silverton yesterday, and particularly enjoyed the Old Goal Museum. Was an amazing place to visit and congratulations to Historical Society and all the volunteers who look after it.

Before Silverton we had a night at Meninee Lakes. Found a great free camp, but only stayed a night as the rain was coming through. We'll be back

First night camped on the other side of the black stump. Top little spot.

Just stopped at a little town called Quandialla. While wandering around the town we found this fabulous mural. Unfortunately I couldn't get great photos, but hopefully they give you a glimpse of a beautiful mural and life as it was in a little NSW country town

Finally hitting the road again!! 3rd attempt to do Simpson again, but have failed due to flooding. Never mind, off to explore other areas.

Come follow us as we explore the NSW outback, Flinders Ranges, Oodnadatta Track, Dalhousie Hot Springs, Binns Track, Outback QLD, and back home via the Darling River.

First night tonight we'll be camped up at Merriwagga, Northern Riverina Region, and the home of the original Black Stump.

We really don't know if the chicken track was any easier than the normal track because it was a winchathon on both sides. Thanks to a mob from a Canberra 4WD club who assisted us out. Thanks guys. much appreciated. Sit back, relax and watch the sky
