A huge semi final performance from the North Fire Inferno in a high intensity clash against South Swift.
This match shaped as a battle between 1 v 4 with South Swift entering the game undefeated. As underdogs Inferno rose to the occasion and demonstrated the quality depth and belief within the squad. Locked at 2 to 2 at full time the contest moved into extra time where the intensity lifted again.

Bailey Sorenson found the decisive goal in extra time to secure the win and send North Fire Inferno through to the grand final. A strong team performance built on effort discipline and composure under pressure.

With 3 out of the 4 teams competing in the 2 senior grand finals on Sunday North Fire will be well represented. Please come down to PCYC Queanbeyan and show your support.

Congratulations to both our Senior Women’s teams on making it through to the Grand Final this weekend making a North Fire v North Fire showdown!

Both semi finals were tightly contested. North Fire Inferno secured a hard earned win against a valiant South Swift in extra time with a double from Reilly Yuen. In a close and competitive match against an undefeated West Lightning, North Fire Flame recorded a 2 to 1 victory with both goals scored by Leila Billington. An outstanding achievement for both squads and a credit to the players for their commitment effort throughout the season.

The Capital Futsal League Women’s Grand Final will be played at 11:30am on Sunday 21 December at PCYC Queanbeyan. We encourage everyone to come down and support, see you there!

An incredible achievement for our junior futsal program!!

Congratulations to all of our junior squads who have qualified for the Junior Capital Futsal League grand finals. It has been a successful season all round for the club and we are proud of the effort commitment and growth shown across every junior team.
A special highlight is the U17 Girls grand final with an all North Fire showdown as Inferno take on Flame. A fantastic outcome and a credit to the depth and quality of our program.

A special shout out to our U13 Girls who showed outstanding resilience and character all season competing week after week while playing up 1 or 2 age groups. Their effort and attitude have been exceptional.

We also acknowledge the valiant efforts of all our junior squads who may not have reached grand finals but contributed to a strong and positive season for the club.

Come down to Lyneham Netball Centre and support our teams as they finish the season in style.

After a long season with countless injuries and other setbacks, we are incredibly proud to say that all of our senior North Fire teams made appearances in the finals!

The first grade women maintained dominance throughout the competition winning the premiership as well as the grand finals.

The reserve grade men’s went into the finals as underdogs, only to defeat minor premiers South Swift 4-1 when it mattered most.

After sustaining multiple injuries, the first grade men still clawed their way to the semi finals with a squad of 8, but fell short due to a simple lack of legs.

And last but not least, the reserve grade girls did spectacular to make it to the grand finals, playing with 5 players from the under 17’s and still grinding their way to the very end. They ended the season losing narrowly 3-1 in the final minutes of the game.

Congratulations to ALL our North Fire teams in getting to the finals and thankyou to everyone who helped them along the way 🔥🔥.

AND THE GIRLS HAVE DONE IT 👏🔥🔥

In extra time, the girls clinched the title making them minor premiers and grand final champions. Amazing effort girls, and congratulations!
