The two ballet classes gave us a beautiful taste of their skills and artistry with the gentle and evocative Music Box Dancers and a mysterious and intriguing Vampire Ball. Jenny Atkins created both these moving dances. They added immensely to the enjoyment and beauty of the Mid Winter Showing 2026.

Our GOLD Dancers were brilliant as usual in the Mid Winter Showing 2026!
Robyn Richardsonโs, Watermarked, was a beautifully understated and highly inviting gestural piece, thoughtfully and expressively performed by them.

The Mid Winter Showing 2026 opened with a fun and vibrant Sea Shanty by CDTribe, choreographed by Karina Carter, and supported by Eloise Dennis. It got everyone in the mood for the smorgasbord of dances to come.
Later on in the show, CDT Tribe also wowed us with the magical and sparkling Abracadabra, by Karina Carter.

Our Mid Winter Showing was a great success. Just what we needed in the middle of winter and the middle of our studio saga! The night was all too short, but absolutely wonderful. We finished with a celebratory dance together to enjoy our community spirit and resilience.
Thank you to everyone who came along, either in our large audience or in our amazing cast. Together we made it a night to remember!
Keep your eye on the socials for more photos to come.

DON'T MISS THIS!
A handful of our GOLDs and some of our CDT friends will be performing in Liz Lea's upcoming show Diamond. Get your tickets to see them sparkle in this dazzling show exploring ageing, resilience and the complexity of womanhood.
Blending contemporary dance, song, cabaret, and a touch of burlesque, Diamond invites audiences into a world of humour, glamour, and heartfelt transformation. With moments of raw honesty and riotous play, the show celebrates the brilliance that emerges through time โ the courage, fragility, and power that define us as we evolve.
Inspired by the enduring strength and many facets of a diamond, the work reflects on how we are shaped by experience, pressure, and the will to keep shining. A sparkling homage to the resilience and beauty of ageing women โ bold, unapologetic, and full of life.
