Canberra local and seven-time WNBL champion with the UC Capitals, Nat Hurst is back as Lead Assistant Coach for the 2026/27 season ⚡

After returning to the club last year, Hurst will once again work alongside Head Coach Paul Goriss as the Capitals continue building towards another championship campaign.

A true club great, Hurst's experience, leadership and passion for the Capitals will continue to shape the next generation of players both on and off the court.

New Zealand opens its campaign against Papua New Guinea on Saturday, with gold firmly in its sights.

Incoming UC Capitals recruit Amy Atwell is set to represent Australia as the Gangurrus begin their Commonwealth Games 3x3 basketball campaign in Glasgow.

Fresh off a silver medal at the FIBA 3x3 World Cup, Amy and the team will be chasing gold against on the world's best from 24-29 July, opening against Kenya at 7:25pm AEST this Friday.
