What fruits are great for kids, during the cold weather.
Stock up on:

Bananas: Strengthens bones, easy to digest, good for eye sight.
Apples: Fights dental infections, aids withs stomach issues
Oranges and Lemons: Vitamin C enhancing immune system, helps reduce colds and flues.
Pomegranate: Cures inflammation, aids in digestion problems, kills intestinal worms, helps control fevers and protect the liver.. (hmmmm I think I'll add this to the shopping list!!)
Pears: antioxidants, helps heal wounds, enhance immune system.
Grapes: Bone growth, instant energy, good supply of antioxidants.
Kiwi Fruit: Good source of Vitamin C, rich in E,A and K which aid with eye sight and cell damage.

Kids need to keep their water in take up just as we adults do.
Are your Kids drinking enough water? Remember Juices don't cont for liquid intake and they also contain unwanted sugar. Water is BEST

The recommended daily amount of fluids is: 5 glasses or 1L
for 5-8 year olds. 7 glasses or1.5 litres for 9-12 year olds. 8 to 10 glasses or 2 litres for 13+ yrs.

Ideas, Have a big bottle of water and make sure they get through that in a day.
1 glass of water first thing in the morning
Making sure they have a water bottle at school and sports.
