Grant funding is now available to help grow and improve Rugby across NSW!

Whether you want to upgrade your home ground facilities or launch an innovative new competition, here are two funding streams designed to support the future of the game.

Here is a quick breakdown of the two streams available:

Category 1: Infrastructure 🏟️

➡ Who can apply: Affiliated, not-for-profit NSW Rugby clubs, associations, zones, and Local Government Authorities.
➡ What it funds: New or upgraded facilities that maximise community participation. Think new pitches, improved lighting, or universally designed amenities like gender-neutral change rooms.
➡ Timeline: Projects should start from January 2027 and must be completed by January 2029.

Category 2: Participation 🏃‍♀️

➡ Who can apply: Affiliated, not-for-profit NSW Rugby associations or zones (please note that clubs and local councils are not eligible for this stream).
➡ What it funds: Innovative programs that expand participation pathways, especially for under-represented groups like women and girls, or First Nations communities.
➡ Timeline: Projects commence within 6 months of notification and wrap up by December 2028.

Important Note: Both streams require a minimum 25% financial co-contribution towards your total project cost.
