MPGC had a cracking day at the traps!!
the weather cleared and the clays hated being together. We want to thank everyone for coming the company was fantastic. We had awesome food and we even had a spontaneous raffle prize, sponsored by SF Outdoor Group really fantastic to see them at the club and please reach out to them for anything you need.

MPGC shooters had a MASSIVE weekend at the NSW Southern Zone 2 day DTL carnival at NSW Gun Club we had a blast.
Congratulations to David Jarvis, Timothy Quill and Brock Thompson for getting into the Open team and Alannah Jarvis for making it into the ladies team.

Timothy Quill was AA high gun and 3rd in the HC.
David Jarvis won the overall single barrel
Alannah Jarvis was ladies high gun fo the weekend.
Brock Thompson was well rested and shot like a legend, only just missing out in some events but made the SZ team, welcome to the SZ team also.

A MASSIVE Thankyou to Sporting Shooters Association of Australia ACT Inc. for the brand spanking new shad areas, these make for fantastic protection from the sun and the rain when shooting at Majura Park Gun Club , really giving it back to the shooter, a very helpful hand from Vogue Pergolas Australia in Canberra. What a massive weekend of shooting at MPGC! 🔥

The ATA Big 50 kicked things off on Saturday, followed by the 1st ever Golden Goat on Sunday!

Huge congratulations to all our winners who walked away with belt buckles, trophies, and cash prizes across both days. A special shoutout to Phill Chryssovelonis, who absolutely dominated—taking out overall honours on both days.

We even managed to dodge the weather and keep the rain at bay—couldn’t have asked for better conditions!

Thanks to everyone who came out and made it such a great couple of days.
We’ll see you at the next MPGC event.

This Saturdays ATA shoot is a little obscure on MCMS- as it’s an ATA event.

Please make sure in Settings on MCMS you change your filter in ORGANISATIONS to ATA (not ACTA) to find it- you will need your ATA number if it’s not in MCMS.

Pre nominations are open-$140 for 150 targets- plus an Optional $20 lewis per event (Lewis entry on the day at the club)

If nominating on the day you MUST have your ATA membership paid!

MPGC shooters had a MASSIVE week at the Nationals in Wagga, Starting with Alannah Jarvis as the Ladies state champion in the ball trap, 2nd in the ladies double rise, Timothy Quill with an awesome 5th place in the Handicap with 393 od shooters to beat,
Amazing effort for Dan Power in the DB shooting 204/205.
MPGC legends that made the Mackintosh Teams shoot, Dan Power, Joseph O’Brien, Mark Skinner and Alannah Jarvis a fantastic effort to make that shoot and a shout out to Sam Waugh also for making the team, nice work.
