If your flatable lifejackets need servicing contact me early as we have sold our house and will be away from Canberra from the 9th February traveling and will not be returning until November. You will be able to send them to me with notice and I will return them at my expense.

Well here we are the first day of Spring. Lets get the boat uncovered and cleaned up for this season. Most importantly our Inflatable Lifejackets along with other safety gear. The laws changed on the 1st July this year as to lifejacket awareness. It is now a $250 fine per jacket for non compliance on the wearing or servicing of inflatable lifejackets. Those of you that will require your jackets serviced prior to the Snowy Mountains Trout Festival and the Burrinjuck Convention I will be available to do them up until the 21st October. From there I will be at the Jindabyne Holiday Park from the 24th October until the 1st November and then onto Burrinjuck Waters Park from the 2nd November until the 7th November. I will have an assortment of Auto & Manual inflatable lifejackets for sale at a discounted price. There will also be jackets for children from 10-15kg, 15-25kg & 25-40kg. These are Burke non inflatable but 100N of bouyancy. There will be 25-40kg inflatable manual & auto AXIS jackets. Please fell free to share this post so it gets out to all the fisherfolk. Hey guy's I will be at the Batemans Bay bridge boat ramp on the southern side this Sunday (tomorrow) talking on inflatable lifejackets. There will be a DVD running all day and I have BURKE inflatable lifejackets both Manual & Automatic for sale at a great price. Due to the inclement weather ACT Inflatable Lifejacket Services have canceled the information day on Wednesday at Batemans Bay. Instead we will be there on both Friday and Sunday at the town boat ramp on the southern side of the bridge. Call in and have a chat about inflatable lifejackets. I can take jackets with me and return them the following week for servicing and certification.

Merry Xmas to one and all. Well here we are at the Hanging Rock boat ramp again in Batemans Bay. Call in and see me as I have special prices on BURKE jackets both manual and automatic. I will be demonstrating the use and servicing of inflatable lifejackets. Leave your jackets with me for a service as we have loan jackets. Whilst here have a look over my tinnie with the Kapten Boat Collars fitted. I am the fitting agent for these as well in this area. How lucky was the fellow who was hit on Sydney Harbour in his tinnie to have a lifejacket on. Then the 5 on board off the Gap only 2 had lifejackets on. The old addage, my boat is bigger than 4.8mts as large boats don't sink. One day the government might get thier act together and make it compulsory as they did in 1969 with the wearing of seatbelts in cars.

Just a few photos of some faulty lifejackets that have been serviced by me this week. When you open each photo it will explain the faults. This self servicing has to stop. I had one jacket that belongs to a government department that had been operated and re-packed. Could have led to a drowning.
