Sue Willis was made a life member of the Reid Tennis Club at the 2025 Annual General Meeting for her outstanding contribution to Reid Tennis Club. Sue has been very closely involved in the growth and development of Reid since 2012, as Vice-President 2016-2022, and President 2022-present. Sue is pictured above with Terry Walker (Vice-President) and Peter Willis (Secretary).

Congratulations to Michael Poole for winning the Beyond Bank Volunteer Award at Tennis ACT’s Winter Club Forum last night.

Michael’s win was well-deserved as he makes such a contribution to the Club!

For example, Michael managers court bookings, the website, our new POP tennis on a Sunday and general maintenance.

We are so grateful to have Michael on our Committee!

To help him celebrate, Beyond Bank donated
$200 as a bonus to his recognition!

Well done Michael!

Our annual ‘Wimbledon at Reid’ social afternoon provided strawberries and cream, scones and a dash of pimms !

Players enjoyed their POP and social tennis,meeting new people and plenty of laughs!
