Massive shoutout to Michael “Belly” Bell, who put our senior men’s squad through their paces last Saturday.

Belly took the boys through a boot camp style training session centred around teamwork, resilience, and relying on your mate to get you through. There’s no one better to teach that message than Belly himself, who has always been someone willing to give his all for the bloke next to him.

Belly’s love for the club was shown through his willingness to give up his Saturday and lend his personal equipment to the boys for the day.

One key sentence rang clear throughout the day: “Don’t drop the rope.” A simple message that highlighted the importance of connection, trust, and togetherness when working towards a common goal.

🏠 Back at home this weekend and the Nest is looking sharp after a massive clean up effort.

Huge thanks to Jack Read, Daryl Read and the BMFC players for their work cleaning up the stands, and to  for helping give the dugout a fresh new look.
Appreciate everyone who continues to give back to the club both on and off the field.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mums across the Belconnen family. Thank you for everything you do behind the scenes and on the sidelines your support, care and dedication never go unnoticed. We hope you all have a fantastic day celebrating with family and friends.

Joey will play his 100th club game this weekend. Since debuting in 2014, he hasn’t done it the easy way, overcoming a long-term ACL injury and multiple setbacks, but never once wavering in his attitude and commitment.

A key part of our 2019 3rd Grade premiership and a proud leader, Joey has captained our 2nd Grade side over the past two seasons.

A much loved figure around the club — we’re lucky to have you, Joey. All the best for game 100

Following consultation with the ACT Government and AFL Canberra, and due to ongoing safety concerns with The Nest playing surface, this weekend’s home games have been relocated to Queanbeyan. Game times remain unchanged.

Player welfare remains our priority, and we’ll continue working with stakeholders to ensure the ground meets required standards moving forward.

The ‘Blokes of Belconnen’ event has been postponed – new details to come soon.
