1918 - 2018 WE REMEMBER

Interesting how not one word in our media of this historical event which changed the world forever ... just anti Russian propaganda with meddling etc ... and who meddled in the Russian politics 100 years ago? ... The Russian Royal family wouldn't have been murdered if they were allowed to escape through England as was originally arranged and King George V hadn't reneged at the last minute. Not to mention the countries that encouraged and supported the Bolsheviks in the Russian Revolution in the first place.
A real shame that my children and grandchildren & their generations are now exposed to this current anti Russian sentiment with-out all the true facts as I have been all my life.

"In view of the fact that your relatives in Europe are continuing their assault on Soviet Russia, the presidium of the Ural Soviet had sentenced you to be shot. In view of the fact that the Czechoslovaks are threatening the red capital of the Urals - Yekaterinburg - and in view of the fact that the crowned executioner might escape the people's court, the presidium of the Regional Soviet, fulfilling the will of the Revolution, has decreed that the former Tsar Nicholas Romanov, guilty of countless bloody crimes against the people, should be shot." - Yakov Mikhailovich Yurovsky, 16 July 1918.
The Russian Imperial family; Tsar Nicholas II, his wife Tsarina Alexandra and their five children Olga, Tatiana, Maria, Anastasia, and Alexei, and those who chose to accompany them into exile – Eugene Botkin, Anna Demidova, Alexei Trupp and Ivan Kharitonov
– were shot in Yekaterinburg on 17 July 1918.
