There are plenty of familiar faces returning to continue the great work already underway, alongside a number of new members bringing fresh ideas, energy and experience to the club.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has put their hand up to help drive the club forward this season.

And a special welcome to all of our new appointments. Welcome to the Hotel California ;)

We’re still on the lookout for people to take on the roles of Bar Manager and Grounds Manager for Season 2026/27.

We are pleased to announce the annual President’s Business Luncheon for 2026/27!
The event will be hosted at Canterbury Sports Ground on September the 24th starting at 12:00pm.

Retired Detective Andrew Stamper hosts an all-star panel featuring current AFL player (former CCC player) Sam Grlj, current AFL umpire (former CCC First XI player) Andrew Heffernan and past AFL Hall of Famers John Platten and Francis Bourke.

Tickets are $50 a head (table bookings of 8 people for $400 include a bottle of Chapoutier w**e). Tickets include roast spit gyros for lunch - vegan options available.

A HISTORIC APPOINTMENT

We’re thrilled to announce Melissa Hay as the first ever female Vice-President of Canterbury Cricket Club!

Melissa joined the Committee in the 2024/25 season as our Junior Boys Coordinator, where she made an incredible impact and played a huge role in supporting the growth and development of our junior program.
Alongside her committee work, Melissa has also captained our Women’s 2nd XI since 2024/25, bringing strong leadership, commitment and plenty of experience to the role.

Her contribution to the club over the past two seasons has been outstanding, and we couldn’t be more excited to see her take the next step into the Vice-President role.

A well-deserved appointment and an important moment in the history of our club.

Congratulations, Melissa! We’re thrilled to have you onboard.

🇬🇧 WELCOME, JASMINE PASSMAN 🇬🇧

We're thrilled to welcome Jasmine Passman to Canterbury Cricket Club as our first Women's Overseas Player! 💙🫐

Jasmine joins us from Sessay Cricket Club in North Yorkshire, where she has spent the past five seasons playing and training with the Women's 1st XI. Along the way, she has earned selection for the Yorkshire County Cricket Club U13, U15 and U18 representative teams, while also progressing through the Yorkshire Women's Academy, showcasing her talent against some of the best young players in England.

Earlier this year, Jasmine also gained valuable Australian experience, playing Queensland Women's 1st XI Premier Cricket with Sandgate-Redcliffe District Cricket Club, adding another impressive chapter to an already outstanding cricket journey.
With an impressive resumé and experience on both sides of the world, Jasmine brings a wealth of talent, knowledge and quality to our Senior Women's program, and we can't wait to see her in action at Canterbury Sports Ground this season.

To allow more women in the community to access cricket, the CCC have returned to the ECA to ensure that travel time is now reduced to open up the prospect for more players participating in our fantastic cricket program.

Whether you are 12 years old or 72 years old, we not only offer a friendly and cohesive community environment to play cricket, but now a local one. No more long drives and no more taking up the whole of your Sunday.
