Good luck to all our U12 Wildcats representing RedCity Roar Basketball at State Championships this week!

Play hard and leave it all on the court!

Wishing our U12 Boys and Girls the best of luck this week as they begin their State Championships.

Off the back of a very successful SQJBC, we look forward to seeing how these young superstars continue their journey this season.

With 3x Medals out of 5 teams (including Gold to our Lions Boys, Silver to our Roar and Pride girls), we anticipate one of the most successful seasons in our history

How great are these young players and the staff leading them!

If you can get down to support, we know they would appreciate it! Games are at Northside, Brisbane Entertainment Centre and Auchenflower stadiums.

And that's a wrap on the Winter Season!

What a season it’s been for the Capalaba Wildcats! 🙌

Huge congratulations to all our medal-winning teams and our individual award winners - your hard work, commitment and determination have certainly paid off! 🥇🥈🥉🏆

But while the medals and trophies deserve a big celebration, there’s so much more to be proud of across our club.

👏 To every player - thank you for turning up, giving it your all, learning, improving, supporting your teammates and, most importantly, enjoying your basketball. Every win, loss, comeback, new skill and great team moment has been part of your season.

🏀 To our coaches - thank you for your time, patience, knowledge and dedication. You do so much more than teach basketball, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything you put into our players and teams.

💪 To our team managers - thank you for keeping everyone organised, informed and on track throughout the season. We couldn’t do it without you!

❤️ To our families - thank you for the early mornings, late nights, car trips, sideline support, encouragement, snacks, uniforms, scoring, cheering and everything in between. Your support keeps our players on the court and our club moving forward.

And to every Wildcats team - whether you finished with a medal, narrowly missed finals, celebrated your first win or simply grew together as a team, you should all be proud of what you achieved this season.

Because basketball is about more than the scoreboard. It’s about development, friendships, teamwork, resilience and having a whole lot of fun along the way. 🏀💜

🏀 FINAL DAY OF FINALS HAS ARRIVED! 🏀

It’s a big Saturday for our U10 - U14 Wildcats, with 8 teams taking to the court for their finals!

For some it’s their first taste of finals basketball, for others it’s another chance to show what they can do, but every team has earned their spot! 💪

Good luck everyone, play hard and leave it all out there - we're cheering you on all the way!

On the court, we know we can’t do it alone. We pass, we communicate, we back each other up and we celebrate the wins together. 🏀

So why should off the court be any different?

It’s OK not to be OK, and it’s OK to ask for support when things get tough. You don’t have to go through it on your own.

Check-in with your teammates, your mates, your coaches and the people around you. Ask the question, listen and let them know you’ve got their back.

Because just like basketball, we’re stronger when we play as a team.

Look out for each other. Have the conversation. Back your team.
