Underwater Bull Shark Moreton Bay

This morning was just a morning of fun. trolled the 50m line off north of North Stradbroke Island. Water blue and clean though not alot of bait fish schools.

23-10-2024…Whiting in Fisherman’s Gutter Moreton Bay…What a magic morning on the bay chasing Whiting. Got my bag limit and a few lovely meals.

15-10-2024… This morning between Green Island and St Helena Island Moreton Bay. About 5-6km from Wellington Point, Redlands City Brisbane. Whales were relaxing on the surface. Mom was trying to rest but the baby had other ideas and was playing around. What a lovely sight too have seen. The last of the migration will end soon until next year…….

11/10/2024 Flats..Flathead…. Fishing the flats on the first hour of the run in. Saw many small flathead, Stingrays, Shovelnose Rays and a strange orange/red slug always something new to see. When fishing these flats, fish the line where the sand a w**d meet. In this area I prefer a shallow bided hardbody lure as it stays close to the bottom and doesn`t pick up the w**ds and snags.

29-09-2023….Humpbacks in Moreton Bay, a quick look at what was around this morning… Out in the bay quite a few humpback cow and calves… They were sleeping, resting and feed and a few calves were playing…This was off Green Island in the main channel….

21-10-2023….Gold Coast Snapper 80mtr….weather was turning in on for a snapper fish on the Gold Coast in 80mtrs of water…..plenty of fish on the sounder and plenty landed….. The lowest bench mark were fish over 50
