It’s the little things that make LDA, LDA 💚

It’s the teacher who remembers the tiny detail a dancer was worried about last week. The happy dance after finally nailing a tricky step. The encouragement to try something new, even when it feels a little scary.

It’s the celebrations that happen in the classroom, the progress that comes with practice, and the care that goes into creating a positive experience for every dancer who walks through our doors.

At Let’s Dance Academy QLD, we know that what happens between the steps matters just as much as the dancing itself.

And that’s something we’ll always be proud of.

A little peek into life with our Mini ballerinas! 🩰💚

Dance is about so much more than learning steps and twirling around the room! In those early primary years, our classes help little dancers develop important skills that support them both inside and outside the studio.

✨ Listening – following instructions and responding to music ✨ Confidence – finding the courage to try something new and shine in their own way ✨ Resilience – learning that it’s okay to make mistakes, keep trying and celebrate progress ✨ Friendship & teamwork – sharing space, taking turns and dancing together ✨ School readiness – building focus, coordination and the confidence to participate in a group

And the very best part? All of this happens while making friends, exploring movement and having a WHOLE lot of fun! 🤍

We love watching our little dancers grow, not just as ballerinas, but as confident, capable little people. 🌟

We’re so excited to be returning to the Saint Gabriel’s Spring Fair this Sunday!

Come along and watch our LDA dancers perform at 11:30am, meet Miss Taylor & Team, hear what we have planned for 2027, and book a FREE Term 4 trial!

Plus, enjoy pony rides, baby animals, kids’ games, treats and more. There’s something for the whole family!

This Mini thrives on being challenged, and we absolutely love watching her focus, effort and dedication shine through as she works to improve and grow.

With Living the Dream just around the corner, there’s SO much to look forward to! Let’s finish the year strong, together. 💚

✨ TIME TO SHINE 2026! ✨

A few weeks ago, our LDA competition girls hit the stage at Time To Shine and WOW - what a day! 🔥

We are SO proud of every single dancer who stepped onto that stage and gave it their all. The effort, commitment, sportsmanship and friendships these girls are building through competition are something really special - and you can see that teamwork shine on stage! 🤍
 🥈 U6 Jazz — 2nd Place 🥉 U12 Hip Hop — 3rd Place 🥉 U14 Lyrical — 3rd Place 🏅 U14 Jazz — 4th Place

But beyond the results, it’s the confidence, resilience, encouragement and team bonds that make us the proudest. Watching our dancers cheer each other on, celebrate each other’s successes and step onto the stage together is what performance is all about! 💪✨

A HUGE congratulations to our incredible dancers and thank you to our LDA families for continuing to support these dancers every step of the way! 🖤

Our U16 Team will take to the stage for their final competition of 2026 in just a few weeks, and we cannot WAIT to see them finish the year strong! Let’s go, LDA! 🖤✨

WHAT. A. TERM! 🎉💚

Term 3 has officially been our biggest and busiest yet, and what a way to finish it! We’ve loved seeing our dancers grow in confidence, technique and creativity throughout the term - and we’re so proud of the progress happening across our LDA community. ✨

And of course… we had to finish with a little Crazy Hair & Fun Socks! 🎀🧦✨
