Strong teams look out for each other đź’š

This season, we’re reminding our players, families and volunteers that mental health and wellbeing matter - on and off the pitch.

Join us at our Mental Health BBQ on 27/28 June, the same weekend as team photos. Come down, grab a bite, and be part of the conversation.

National Reconciliation Week ❤️💛🖤

At HRJFC, we are committed to leading by example and championing sporting environments that are respectful, inclusive and welcoming for all.

Racism has no place in sport - not on our fields, not on our sidelines, not in our community.

We are one team, one sport, one community. ⚽️

We are incredibly proud to announce that Hamersley Rovers JFC has officially achieved 3 Star Club Changer Status through Football Australia’s Club Changer Program, becoming just the third club in Western Australia to reach this milestone.

Club Changer is Football Australia’s national club development program, designed to help clubs build stronger, safer, more inclusive and more sustainable environments for their communities.
Achieving 3 Stars is not something that happens through a single initiative or season.

It requires clubs to demonstrate ongoing commitment across a wide range of areas including:
Women and girls football
Safeguarding and child safety
Diversity, equality and inclusion
Governance and leadership
Communication and engagement
Long-term planning and sustainability
Positive club culture and behaviours

Over the past few years we have worked hard to strengthen every part of our club.

From growing participation and creating more opportunities for girls, to supporting coaches and volunteers, improving governance, developing clear policies and processes, and continuing to build a culture where everyone feels welcome and valued, this recognition reflects the collective effort of our entire community.

While the accreditation carries the club's name, it belongs to every volunteer who coaches a team, every manager who keeps things organised, every committee member who works behind the scenes, every parent who helps out, and every player who proudly wears our colours.

Community football doesn't thrive by accident. It grows when people care enough to keep showing up for each other.

Thank you to everyone who has helped us reach this milestone.

We are proud of what we've achieved, but even more excited about where we're heading next.

Community sport doesn’t run on fields, uniforms or equipment.

It runs on a remarkable group of people who cheer just as loudly for every child on the team as they do for their own.

The people who coach.
The people who manage.
The people who answer questions, organise registrations, fix equipment, coordinate uniforms and quietly step in whenever something needs doing.

At Hamersley Rovers JFC, every training session, every match and every smile on the pitch is made possible by volunteers.

They are the reason friendships are formed, confidence grows and kids fall in love with the game.

This National Volunteer Week, we say a huge thank you to every coach, manager, committee member and parent who gives their time to our club.

You may have signed up to support your own child, but in doing so, you’ve made a difference to hundreds more.

We are a community club in every sense of the word, and we simply couldn’t do it without you. 🖤⚽️🤍

Is it even Mothers Day if you don't go from yelling at your kids to find their boots to yelling encouragement from the sidelines?
A massive thanks to our Mothers, and those in mothering roles for everthing you do to make our club what it is 🥰⚽️🖤
