FOREVER 7 MISSION | MORE THAN A CHALLENGE 💛

This year, we're not calling it a challenge.

We're calling it a mission.

Created in honour of Georgia, who tragically lost her battle with brain cancer at just seven years old, Forever 7 is about coming together for something bigger than ourselves.

Teams of 7 will complete 7 tasks over 7 weeks, finishing with a 77 km team event. Every dollar raised goes directly to the RCD Foundation to help fight childhood cancer.

You don't need to be a runner.
You don't need to be super fit.
You just need to be willing to be part of something that matters.

If your kids described you, what would they say?

In this episode, Trav and Pat have an honest conversation about the example we set as parents, and why our actions speak far louder than our words.

Pat shares a powerful statistic. If a child has one parent who is fit and healthy, they're around 3 times more likely to grow up fit and healthy themselves. If both parents are fit and healthy, that number increases to 9 times more likely.

It reinforces something Trav has spoken about many times.

It's not what you say. It's what you do.

Trav also shares why looking after your own health doesn't just impact your fitness. The habits, discipline, and consistency that come with living a healthy lifestyle often flow into every other area of life, including your relationships, your career, and your success.

Why does motivation disappear the moment winter arrives?

Pat shares a perspective that might divide opinions. He believes we've become too comfortable. We live in a world where convenience is everywhere, and as soon as life becomes a little uncomfortable, it's easy to check out.

Our grandparents didn't have many of the comforts we take for granted today. They simply got on with what needed to be done. Somewhere along the way, we've started letting comfort dictate our actions.

The boys unpack the difference between motivation and discipline, why winter is actually the best time to build habits, and how the people who stay consistent through the colder months are usually the ones who make the biggest progress.
