GROOVE is a simple, fun dance experience that welcomes every body, every age and every fitness level. You get to dance your heart out - your way!
Unlike traditional dance classes there are no routines to memorise and no pressure to get the moves right. This is not a traditional dance class with a teacher out front: it’s a chance to spend an hour dancing like no one’s watching.

Most of us don’t hold back from dancing because we can’t dance. We hold back because somewhere along the way we learned to judge, analyse and manage ourselves instead of simply feeling and moving. The beautiful truth is that your body already knows how to move. Groove isn’t about getting the steps right — it’s about giving yourself permission to reconnect, express yourself, and feel more alive. 💜

Have you ever accidentally discovered something that became an important part of your life?
I became a dance facilitator by accident. I never had a grand plan. I wasn't trying to build a business. I simply loved the feeling of moving my body to music and wanted to share it. I started by gathering a group of like-minded friends who enjoyed dancing as much as I did, and from there the community gradually grew.
What surprised me when I started facilitating regular classes was realising that most women weren't really looking for dance lessons. They were looking for connection, belonging, a place where nobody was judging them. A place where they could relax, let go and simply be themselves. It just happened to be a space where we danced and moved our bodies to great music. The exercise was a happy by-product.
Over the years I've watched women arrive knowing nobody and leave with new friendships. I've watched confidence grow. I've seen people reconnect with joy, playfulness and parts of themselves they thought they'd lost.
Somewhere along the way I realised I'd found my calling: not teaching dance. Helping create spaces where women feel safe to be themselves and honestly, I think the world could use a few more spaces like that.

This is one of the things I love most about Groove.
So many adults stop dancing somewhere along the way, not because they don't enjoy music, not because they can't dance, but because they become self-conscious. They start worrying about getting it right, looking silly or being judged.
I know because I've had countless women walk into a class and tell me:
"I can't dance."
The funny thing is, they're usually already dancing by the end of the first song.
Groove isn't about performing. It's not about choreography. It's not about looking good. It's about reconnecting with the simple joy of moving your body to music. The kind of movement many of us did naturally as children, the kind of movement that still shows up when a favourite song comes on and nobody's watching.
I think we need more of that in our lives.
More joy.
More music.
More freedom.
Less judgement.
