Over the past week, four NRCLAC athletes represented Australia at the Oceania Championships in Darwin.

This is a phenomenal achievement and a fabulous experience for these young athletes.

Amazingly, these talented young athletes brought home one 🥈 and three 🥉medals!!

Congratulations to NRCLAC athlete Michael S, whose gold medal performance at the recent Australian Junior Championships in Brisbane has been recognised as an Australian Record for the Para U17 Male - Class F20 Shot Put.

Congratulations to NRCLAC athlete Sophie P for yet another Australian team selection, this time in the World U20 team heading to Eugene in August.

Congratulations to NRCLAC athletes Sophie P, Vili L and Chris N who have all been selected in the Australian U18 Team for the Oceania Championships to be held in Darwin in May.

💠 AUSTRALIAN JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS 💠

From the 14-20 April, fourteen NRCLAC athletes travelled to Brisbane to represent NSW at the Australian Athletics Junior Championships.

The competition showcased the best junior talent in the country and was a wonderful exhibition of amazing athletics.

Our athletes had some fantastic results, bringing home four national medals, achieving sixteen Top 10 placings and giving many PB performances.

💚💛 CONGRATULATIONS SOPHIE 💛💚

Congratulations to NRCLAC athlete Sophie P on her Australian debut at the World Race Walking Team Championships in Brazil.

Sophie achieved an amazing 24th place in the U20 Women’s 10km Walk, walking the 10km in a fantastic 51:30. Her walk contributed to the Australian U20 Women’s team coming in 7th place overall.

What a phenomenal result for a talented and dedicated young athlete.
