🦁 Two big Stingrays announcements for our Lions family!

A huge congratulations to Gus Kennedy, who has been named in the 2026 Talent League Team of the Year. An incredible achievement and another step forward for a Carrum junior who continues to lead with power, passion and professionalism.

And a massive cheer for Hudson Willett, selected in the U15 Boys V/Line Cup Squad. A brilliant reward for his hard work and commitment — we’re so proud to see another young Lion recognised at representative level. 👏🏻

A few weeks ago, representatives from our club were invited to take part in the Kingston Council Fair Access Panel, a discussion focusing on practical ways community sports clubs can create safe, welcoming and inclusive environments for women and girls, and how clubs can support participation, advocacy and cultural change within their organisations.

Our club was proudly represented by our 2026 U16 girls Co-Captain, Sienna, Nick Williams (CSO) and Lauren Parry (Secretary), who spoke about the origins of our girls program, initiatives put in place for our female players (including change room access and privacy), the growth of our girls program over recent years, and the inception of our inaugural CPLJFC U18 women's and girls team from season 2027.

We're proud of all of our Lions and Lionesses at the Den, and girls footy at CPLJFC looks very strong!
