My loss is your gain..
Ejen Park Laylahs Dreams
9yr old, chestnut, pure Arabian mare, 14.3hh.
Laylah is a very sensible mare who is easy to catch, float, shoe, rug, wash, handle in all ways, around traffic , machinery and more.
I was gifted this mare from a close friend and my intention had been to keep her for my daughter in endurance (6yrs old). However recently we obtained a bigger pony on lease and she has fallen in love with him and doesn’t need or have time for 2 horses. I am also very financially poor at the moment. Laylah has been an absolute pleasure to have around in all ways, she was incredibly easy to break in, has never bucked, reared, kicked, bitten or bolted. She will come to you in the paddock and stand for love and cuddles all day. She is bottom of my pecking order and a really good doer staying fat on the smell of feed even in full training.
Given the goal for her long term was endurance she has mostly done “trail riding”, she’s ridden out alone, pairs and in groups of horses. She has successfully completed 1 x 40km ride and will attend the Wondai event in November aswell. She can be ridden in a halter or also travels in a snaffle bit. She has continuously proven to be the “quiet” one of our group whom I’ve been able to put young teens on her for long training rides and have no concerns for their safety. She’s not a typical Arab in her behaviour or characteristics and will lead, ride mid group or follow along behind. Whilst I’ve had beginner riders on her I still think an intermediate or above rider would be best suited due to her short ridden life.
Previous to me Laylah was also a proven broodmare having a few foals and was a great mother.
Currently full shod and in full work, up to date with worming and in good working condition.

It’s a really sad sale but a necessary one. I have some videos for interested parties.

Mickey
8yr old, bay, Arabian gelding, 15hh.
Mickey is a very sensible gelding who is easy to catch and good to float, shoe, rug, wash, handle in all ways, around traffic , machinery and more. Since we purchased Mickey last year he has mostly been used for endurance riding but I have also used him in the occasional riding lesson for intermediates and my 6yr old daughter has ridden him walk and trot rides in the forest. He has successfully completed 2 x 40kms, 1 x 50km and 1 x 80km endurance events. 2 of these events ridden by a young junior rider introducing her to the sport.
He’s the type of horse to greet you in the paddock and will stand to be loved over all day. You can give him weeks off and with no prep work hop on and go for a ride. He easily rides out alone with confidence. He will lead or follow in a group of horses. Not lazy but not ripping your arms off forward either, he is a nice in between. Mostly being ridden by intermediates and above but I’ve had some beginners on him also.
Mickey does have one small scar on his near side heel (see attached images) where he got caught up in a fence last year.
Fully up to date with dental, hoof care and worming. He is microchipped. He is not Hendra vaccinated.
He is a typical endurance horse who travels freely and has really only done trail riding so no he doesn’t travel in a frame or have established flatwork.
He would be the perfect mount for someone looking for a genuine quiet trail riding and pleasure horse or for an endurance mount.

He did have one vet out on lameness this year but trotted up completely sound on his return to camp and no other issues were found. He recently has just had some time off as we focused on preparing our Quilty / state championship horses and now has returned to work ready to find his new human.
Mostly being ridden by intermediates and above. I’ve never had raw beginners on him.
Mickey does have one small scar on his near side heel (see attached images) where he got caught up in a fence last year.
Fully up to date with dental, hoof care and worming. He is microchipped. He is not Hendra vaccinated.
Unfortunately the details for him on aeraspace are not up to date as I was sold him as a 5yr old and only this year was I able to track his breeder and actually identify that he is 8yr old and I do know his progeny.
He is a typical endurance horse who travels freely but hasn’t done a lot of flatwork.

10yo ~ 15hh ~ Arab gelding

Experienced open endurance horse

Fantastic heart rates and knows the sport well. Great to shoe, clip and wash, with dogs, other horses and machinery. Regularly ridden down the road so is familiar with all kinds of traffic. Travels well, eats and drinks well, can ride alone or in company. He is easy to handle in all ways but is a typical Arab so does shy so ideally not suited to a beginner rider. Carries LWT well but he’s given no reason to think he can’t take MWT.

Is currently shod and in consistent work, just completed a 40km at murrumba a few weeks ago with all As and 1s. Preparing for 80km at biggenden in 2 weeks.

Predominantly he has been an endurance or pleasure horse but I don’t ride much flatwork so if you want him for dressage or to travel on the bit he will need some guidance.

Videos available on request. Selling due to emergency vet bills and lack of time for him.
