Last night, the Casino Truck Show was honoured with the Outstanding Visitor Experience award at the 2026 Northern Rivers Business Awards🎉 We’re struggling to put into words what this award means to us🥺
When registrations opened at 9am on Monday morning and filled within one hour, we knew something special was happening. But this award is another reminder that the Casino Truck Show is bigger than we ever imagined.
To be recognised alongside so many incredible Northern Rivers businesses and organisations will never be taken for granted🙏🏼
At last, the spotlight is beginning to shine on not only our event, but the men, women, families and businesses who continue to keep this country running.
Thank you to everyone who makes the Casino Truck Show what it is. This one is for the transport industry, our town, and everyone who continues to believe in our show❤️

There’s no missing the Dawson’s Haulage trucks when they roll into Casino Truck Show. As the proud sponsor of the Saturday morning Dawson’s Haulage Truck Parade, their rigs lead the charge through the streets of Casino and they look pretty damn good doing it. 🚛💚

$8.3million into the Richmond Valley economy, thanks to our supporters💥

‼The NCP Casino Truck Show continues to deliver major economic benefits to the Richmond Valley, with $8.319 million spent across the region during the 2026 event period, an 18.8% increase on 2025. 😯

👉 CBA iQ data recorded 31,860 unique customers spending across the region from 29 July to 2 August, up 22% on 2025. Visitors accounted for 46% of all spending and 58% of customers.

💲In Casino, businesses recorded $3.228 million in card spending, up 15.8%, while customer numbers increased 23.1% to 23,300.
🗣️The final visitor survey attracted 885 respondents from 466 towns and cities. Just 4% were Richmond Valley residents, while 47% travelled from interstate and 73% stayed overnight. Visitors stayed throughout Richmond Valley and neighbouring areas including Lismore, Ballina, Grafton, Yamba and Byron Bay.

💪The 2026 NCP Casino Truck Show attracted an estimated 45,000 people, with 550 truck registrations filling capacity within an hour and 382 trucks participating in Friday Night Lights.

🙌Visitor satisfaction was exceptionally high, with 96% rating their experience 4 or 5 out of 5, and 98% saying they were likely or very likely to return.
🙏The combination of strong spending, interstate visitation and overnight stays shows why the Truck Show is so valuable to our region.

This weekend, two Australian brothers, Jett and Hunter Lawrence, line up for the final round of the Pro Motocross Championship in Indianapolis, carrying with them a story that feels pretty familiar to anyone who knows the transport industry🙌🏼

Behind every success story is the part you don’t always see.
The early mornings, the long hours, kilometres travelled, the sacrifices made, the family behind the scenes, and the setbacks that could have stopped you, but didn’t🤯

Jett and Hunter’s journey from Australia to competing on the world stage is a reminder that big dreams don’t happen by accident🥹They’re built through hard work, determination and plenty of kilometres along the way.

And that’s the untold story of transport🩶
It’s not just trucks, trailers and roads. It’s the people behind them, the families who support them, the businesses built from the ground up, the long days and early starts l, and the pride in doing a job that keeps Australia moving🇦🇺

On Saturday night, we held our annual volunteers dinner at the Hotel Cecil, Casino. It was a great night, celebrating the ones we couldn’t do this event without🫶🏼

We specially noted two important people to this crew. Greg Trew and John Hamilton. Both have been extremely loyal, involved and important to this event and we couldn’t be prouder💪🏼

This team give their time, energy and plenty of hard work to make this event what it is👏🏼
