Things have changed somewhat in 40 years.

FINAL OFFICIAL MATCH OF THE SEASON.

As the AFL finals fire up down south, AFL Masters NT will be firing up at Norbuilt Oval on Wednesday 2 September.

Match Details.

Who: Everyone - both women and men of all ages.
When: 2 September 2026. 5.45pm
Where: Norbuilt Oval Freds Pass. AKA the Home of The Ferals.

Come down for the game, stay for the hospitality.

Do not despair, this is not the end of the season. We also have a Wildcard Round up our sleeve - Beach Footy anyone? Watch this space for details.

Two games over 2 nights.

Game 1 - Wed 19/8 6pm. Men Over 35 @ Norbuilt Oval
Game 2 - Thu 20/8 5.45pm. Women + Men Over 50 @ Wagaman Oval.

Just like the AFL, the season is getting to the pointy end. So get out and have a game while you still can.

Matches Postponed August 6.

Due to unforeseen circumstances the matches scheduled for 6 August have had to be postponed.

A training scratch match, open to all, will be played at Wagaman Oval in their place.

Match Day - Thursday 6 August

The next set of games will be played on Thursday 6 August. Once again we will be splitting into two groups.

Women and Men 50+ will kick things off at Wagaman Oval at 5.45pm.

Men 35+ will get to play under lights at Norbuilt Oval at around 7pm (maybe a little later depending on what time the Croc's training finish training).

As always, registered players are encouraged to get involved. If you haven't all ready done so, it is not to late to register (only $55.00).

Match day - Thursday 23 July 2024.

Show Day comes early this week with two matches on Thursday Night. I cant think of a better way to start a long weekend.

There will be two games across two venues both kicking off at 5.45pm.

Game 1 - Hosted by the Ferals at Norbuilt Oval for Men Over 35.

Game 2 - Hosted by the Townies at Wagaman Oval for Women and Men Over 50.

All registered players are encouraged to get involved. If you haven't all ready done so, it is not to late to register.

On Wednesday the 8th of July a combined Masters game was held, the game was fast and good skills were shown, the competition was fierce and it was goal for goal the whole game Peter Clark umpired the game. It was good to see both sexes playing, it was girl on girl and man on man. A barbcue followed andd the State of Origan was shown on the big screen.

We had a good mixture of players turn up to Wagaman oval this Tuesday with family members enjoying themselves on the side, a few new players told me after practice that the training was great. I said to Kimbo "how are you" he said "Wagaman oval Wagaman oval". Well at least he knew where he was?

The guys and girls at the Masters training put in a motivated effort with squats, Ball manuevering, leg crossovers, sprinting and skill training in handballs and kicking. A fun game follows with a hard earned thirst. It was good to see some father and sons play togethor and also new faces. Wagaman oval every Tuesday and Thursdays.
