Well the big day has come...
After 25 years as a fighter, and the last 10 years as a coach, I have made the extremely tough decision to step back at Crampton's Boxing Academy . The last 4 years alone I have juggled working full time as a coal miner, running a highly successful boxing gym in Lake Macquarie, Hosting boxing events on the Gold Coast with Urban Warfare Boxing and tying to raise a family. I am extremely proud of what we have achieved as a gym helping hundreds of kids from the hunter area, but now it's time to spend time with mine..
I will still be in the sport, my involvement with Urban Warfare and All Fighting Styles will continue, along with the Mates In Mining Fight Night , but now its time for the thing that matters the most, FAMILY...
I would like to thank everyone that supported our dream, from the members to the families, supporters and friends, thankyou so much for everything. Our sponsors who backed us, thankyou, your generosity will never be forgotten.
To Anthony, Frog, Chad, George, Oscar and Toddy, thanks for being there for me, countless hours was put in by you all, and I really appreciate our time together.
I would like to congratulate Shane and Cathy from Uppercut Boxing who have taken over the lease at Unit 2B Number 5 James St Toronto, it is great news that there still will be a boxing gym in the Toronto area and I wish them all the best.
So is farewell for now, once again thanks everyone for your support, and I hope to catch up at the fights every now and again.

It was our absolute pleasure to be part of the Mates In Mining Fight Night last Sat night at East Cessnock Bowling Club that saw 12 entertaining bouts all in the name of charity for injured mine worker Jay Stevens and Mates in Mining. Open cut and underground mines from the Hunter Valley, Lake Macquarie and Western NSW were well represented with 24 men and women jumping in the ring for such a great cause.
A massive shout-out to Ben and Jodie Dederer the organizers of this event, they did such an awesome job, believe it or not this was Ben and Jodie's first ever boxing event and they nailed it! So congrats once again from all of us. To our good friend Mark Warren, thankyou for the awesome commentary on the live stream, top job as always and was great to catch up again and reminisce about old times. And last of all thanks to the public getting behind this historic event, and look forward to the next Mates in Mining Fight Night in 2024.
