🎓 UNISPORT NATIONALS 2026 🎓

Congratulations to three of our senior players—Alex Ocana-Morton, Gabe Murray and Samantha Hughes—who recently represented QUT at the 2026 UniSport Nationals in Perth, Western Australia! 💜

Alex & Gabe represented the QUT Men’s Futsal Team, progressing to the Division 1 Semi-Finals and finishing fourth overall after a strong tournament campaign.

Sam represented the QUT Women’s Futsal Team, helping her side secure a sixth-place finish.

It is fantastic to see our senior players representing their university and competing against some of the best university athletes from across Australia.

Congratulations Alex, Gabe and Sam! We’re proud to have you representing the Sala Familia on the national stage. ⚽💜

🏆 2026 FQ FUTSAL STATE TITLES 🏆

What an incredible weekend for Sala Time FC! 💜 From 3–5 October, 10 Sala Time teams proudly represented our club at the FQ Futsal State Titles.
Sala Time was proud to have a team represented in every age group—and we were the only club to have every one of our teams reach the finals across both the male and female competitions!

The weekend finished with some incredible results:
🥇 U13 Girls – State Champions
🥇 U15 Boys – State Champions
🥇 Youth Women – State Champions
🥈 Youth Men – State Runners-Up

While the trophies are an amazing reward, we are equally proud of every Sala Time team that represented our badge throughout the tournament. Our players competed with passion, determination and respect, demonstrating the strength of our junior and senior pathways.

A massive thank you to our coaches for the time, energy and commitment they continue to give our players. Thank you to our parents and families for your encouragement, dedication and support throughout the weekend—and congratulations to every player who stepped onto the court wearing the Sala Time colours.

We would also like to thank our sponsors and partners for supporting our club and helping us provide these opportunities for our players. Your contribution to the Sala Familia is sincerely appreciated.

Three State Championships. One runner-up finish. Ten teams competing in the finals. One incredibly proud Familia. 💜🖤

🥈 STATE RUNNERS-UP 🥈

Congratulations to our Youth Men on finishing as Runners-Up at the 2026 FQ Futsal State Titles!
The team earned their place in the State Championship decider, after beating tournament favourites Ipswich Futsal in a nail biting extra time which we finished winning 3-2. They faced Storm Futsal in the Grand Final unfortunately falling short with a 4–2 loss.

Although the final result did not go our way, the boys competed with passion and resilience throughout the weekend and should be extremely proud of the way they represented Sala Time FC.

Congratulations to every player and the coaching staff on a fantastic tournament. Thank you to all our families and supporters who backed the boys throughout the weekend—we’re incredibly proud of what this group achieved! 💜🥈
