🎬 Important Concert Information:
Term 4 is our concert term, which means class enrolments will close at the end of Week 2, Term 4. This allows our teachers and dancers enough time to finalise routines, costumes and concert preparations.

Happy Father’s Day to all of our Evergreen Dance Dads! 💚

Behind every great dancer is a dad who…
🤔 Still has no idea what a chasse is.
🚗 Has driven to dance so many times the car could get there on its own.
👏 Claps proudly at every concert, even though he has absolutely no idea if that was the right arm.

Introducing Sophie✨ Our Acro Teacher 🤸‍♀️

We are so excited to welcome Sophie to the Evergreen Dance Studio teaching team!

Her journey began in gymnastics before transitioning into acro dance and cheerleading as a teenager. Dance quickly became her passion, and she knew from a young age that she wanted to become a coach. At just 16, Sophie completed her Acrobatics Arts Syllabus Training and has continued to build her skills and experience ever since.

In 2020, Sophie was awarded Best Acro Dancer and has since coached and choreographed a variety of acro and cheer routines at the studio where she grew up. She is now thrilled to be sharing her love of dance with dancers closer to home here in the Adelaide Hills.

Sophie loves everything about acro, the strength, flexibility and control it develops—but her favourite part is partner tricks and the teamwork they require. As a teacher, nothing beats seeing a dancer finally achieve a skill they’ve worked so hard to master.

Outside the studio, Sophie holds a Bachelor of Laboratory Medicine and currently works in pharmacy. She has recently begun training in calisthenics, with a focus on hand balancing and building strength. When she’s not dancing, you’ll find her listening to pop-rock, walking her puppy Koda, or spending time with friends.

Sophie can’t wait to meet all of our Evergreen dancers and share her love of dance with our community. Be sure to say hello when you see her around the studio! 💚

Looking for a fun way to keep the kids active these school holidays? We’ve got you covered! 🙌

Join us for a morning of dancing, learning and fun with three exciting workshops:

📣 9:00–10:00am | Pom & Cheer (Ages 4–10)
🤸 10:15–11:15am | Acro (Ages 4+)
🎵 11:30am–12:30pm | Hip Hop (Ages 8+)
